All people either live by God's truth or the lie. The Bible warns us not to exchange the truth of God for the lie. The warning is clear to those "who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen" (Romans 1:24). The choice is between that which is natural and that which is perverted. It is a choice between the truth and that which is the lie.
Know the truth of God as the Creator of all things. There is only one true and living God who created all things. He has revealed Himself in Holy Scripture (Romans 1:2). God has revealed Himself to us in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 1:3-4). The Son of God said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
Know the truth of God in creation. He created us as male and female. "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Genesis 1:27). Sexual identity is given by God at birth, either male or female. Know the truth of sexual creation by God. It is natural and blessed of God (Genesis 1:28). Any denial of it is perversion and shameful.
Know the truth of God in worship. We were created to worship and serve God. That means we are to glorify Him in all things. To worship anyone or anything else is idolatry. Jesus said, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24). To worship in truth, we must know the truth.
