For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time (1 Timothy 2:5-6). A ransom is the price paid to redeem a prisoner or slave. Jesus paid it all as our ransom from the bondage of sin and death. Believers are free from the bondage of sin at the cross.
God the Father gave His Son as the only ransom for sin at the cross, that you may receive mercy, grace and love (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ is rejecting God's mercy, grace and love. Jesus is the one and only ransom for sinners. He paid your sin debt with his death at the cross. "Full atonement how can it be?" It is in Christ alone.
Jesus is every believer's ransom at the cross. He is the gift of God the Father, who alone has paid the price to set believers free from condemnation of sin (John 3:18, 36; Romans 8:1). In the Bible, clearly see why Jesus is our only ransom with God. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins, the substitute in our place at the cross (1 John 2:2).
Jesus Christ is our one and only ransom through the everlasting covenant. By the power of his resurrection, Christ works in believers to do what is well pleasing to God (Hebrews 13:20-21). God the Father is well pleased in His only begotten Son. You please God in his Son Jesus. He works in you and through you to the praise of God's glory.
