Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John14:6). Christ is the only way, according to the Bible. It is made clear for us to understand. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Jesus is the only way, as God's only begotten Son (John 3:16). God does not have another way to save us. We either believe in God's only begotten Son or we perish. That's the reason John MacArthur stated, "Apart from Christ, there is no hope for anyone." God gives believers everlasting life through his only begotten Son.
Jesus is the only way, because he alone died for our sins. The Old Testament prophets declared God would send the Messiah to die for our sins. Examples given are Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53. The death of Christ for our sins was foreordained before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8).
Jesus is the only way, because he alone was raised from the dead as our Lord (Romans 1:4, 10:9). The Holy Spirit is our witness that Jesus is Lord, through Holy Scripture and in our hearts (1 Corinthians 12:3). Jesus Christ is the Gospel. If we believe Christ died for our sins and he is risen from the dead, we are saved (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
