God's Glory Revealed

Creation reveals God's glory. God created all things to His glory, according to Scripture (Psalm 19:1). God created man to His glory, but man sinned and fell short of His glory (Romans 3:23). In Christ, we are saved to the God's glory (Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14). The fullness of God's glory is revealed in Christ (John 1:14).

God created all mankind, knowing fully how each life would be lived (e.g., Jeremiah 1:5). God knew that we would sin and fall short of His glory (Romans 3:23). God's mercy, grace, and love in Christ for sinners is to the praise of His glory. See our salvation in Christ to the glory of God's grace. We continue to praise God for the glory of His grace in Christ (John 1:14).

Providence reveals God's glory. He is at work in all things. No event, great or small, is beyond God's knowledge. However, it is not passive knowledge. God works in all things for His purpose, and for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Providence in your life is to the praise of God's glory.

Worship reveals God's glory. The word for glory in the Greek New Testament is doxa, from which we get our English word doxology. That word speaks to our worship as praise to God. We give Him all the glory, as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. "Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below." He is worthy of our praise! We give Him all the glory, now and forever more.
